Cat and Ian wanted shorter coverage of their ceremony and speeches and I was delighted to be chosen as their Gibbon Bridge wedding photographer.

The Couple
Cat looked stunning and wore a gorgeous ivory satin cut out gown with a jewel-embellished broach in her hair and Ian wore a royal blue suit – and looked very dapper!
The couple got in touch with me because they said they wanted a very relaxed wedding with an emphasis on candid photographs, and I loved that they were so relaxed.
The Ceremony
The couple want to have their ceremony under the band stand in the beautiful garden grounds however the rain would not give in and so the ceremony and guests were moved inside for the ceremony in the stunning Orangery – this rooms is FULL of light and creates some BEAUTIFUL ceremony photos! Not so shabby for a ‘back-up’ room!
Cat and Ian chose to decorate the venue with gem stones, which was so unique and I’ve never seen this done before. The reception was in the Conservatory at Gibbon Bridge Hotel – I love this venue because the light is gorgeous for portraits and candids. Weddings at Gibbon Bridge Hotel are amazing, because the grounds are simply stunning!
Why Gibbon Bridge Hotel is a Great Place to Get Married
Gibbon Bridge Hotel is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the best places to get married in the Ribble Valley. The venue offers an intimate and luxurious atmosphere for a wedding – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.
The Afternoon
The couple and their guests enjoyed afternoon tea and champagne accompanied by a string quartet. Cat’s dad held court during the speeches and in true father of the bride tradition shared stories that made the bride blush, and there were lots of laughs too!
