Alex and Richard’s Spring Wedding

The last time I was at this venue was as a guest at a friend’s wedding so it was fabulous to return as a Didsbury House Hotel Wedding Photographer! This stylish boutique venue is tucked away in the trendy South Manchester suburb in a Victorian town house. Didsbury House Hotel combines traditional features with modern style and can be hired exclusively enabling couples and guests to enjoy a private occasion. The multi room layout really helps you to design a wedding to suit.

The bride and groom both got ready at the venue and although the Manchester rain (it’s not a total myth!) put pay to the pre ceremony plans for photos at nearby Fletcher Moss the rest of the day went according to plan. Richard put the finishing touches to the ceremony space in The Boardroom and it looked fabulous. The flowers by RomLily were some of my favourite all year and were a joy to photograph. After the ceremony music was provided by the award winning 24 Live and they closed the day out with a great set.

Before the guests sat down for the Wedding Breakfast, we took the couple to nearby St James Church for photos. The weather played ball (it does sometimes!) and the magnolia trees provided a great backdrop for Alex and Richard. They were both natural and relaxed which made our job easy!
