Colshaw Hall is one of Cheshire’s most luxurious wedding venues. Andrew and I were delighted to be asked to be Joni and Ryan’s photographer at their wedding at Colshaw Hall this year in the glorious August sunshine!
Bride prep at Colshaw Hall
Colshaw Hall is a wow venue! When I arrived for bride prep I couldn’t believe the facilities. It pretty much has an in-house salon with multiple dressing stations for make-up and hair. Then there is a separate dressing room which is beautifully light and airy. A perfect clutter free space ideal for gorgeous bride prep photos.
Saying their ‘I dos’ in the Ceremony Hall
Joni and Ryan chose to have a violin player as Joni entered the Ceremony Hall which created a beautiful atmosphere. It was an emotional ceremony, as most ceremonies are! Mums, Dad, grandparents, bridesmaids, not to mention Joni and Ryan – it wouldn’t be a wedding without a few tears shed!
Wedding breakfast and speeches in the Peel Suite
After drinks in the sunshine, the couple and their guests moved into the Peel Suite for food and speeches. Ryan, Joni’s Dad and Ryan’s best man Charlie gave gorgeous speeches, and yes, we had a few more tears! I love this part of the day because you get to learn a lot about the couple, and what they mean to those close to them. I have been known to cry myself whilst capturing photos of the speeches! What can I say, I’m an old romantic!
Relaxed couple’s photos in the grounds of Colshaw Hall
The grounds of Colshaw Hall offered us tonnes of opportunities for portraits. We took group portraits in the walled garden. Later Joni and Ryan went for a walk around the grounds in front of the Hall where we got some gorgeous relaxed photos of the couple.
