This was our first occasion as a Hyde Bank Farm wedding photographer and what a fabulous venue to get married Hyde Bank Farm is! Nestled on the edge of the Peak District in the Cheshire countryside, Hyde Bank Farm is a family run venue having been a farm run by the Blackhurst family for more than a century. It’s conveniently located for Manchester, Sheffield and Cheshire couples. With a separate ceremony and function space and beautifully tended outdoor spaces, there is a real exclusive feel to the venue.
Hannah and Alex put on a fantastic day at Hyde Bank and were not upstaged by the new King deciding to get crowned on the same day (or by Andrew having his birthday on the same day too!)! The British summer decided to prove elusive on this occasion but the variety of spaces and large function space ensured everyone had a great day. Mandy and the team at Hyde Bank ensured everything ran like clockwork and were a pleasure to work with.
Having photographed Hannah and Alex for their engagement shoot (on a much sunnier day!) in Formby, we knew they would be fun to work and they are both naturals in front of the camera for sure! Evening entertainment was provided by Sean from SBDJ and ensured the party went down a storm.
Hannah’s transport was provided by Lovely Wheels and is one of the best VW campervans we’ve seen! What’s more – profits from the hire of the vehicles go to the Christie Hospital in Manchester so we’d certainly recommend checking them out.
