It’s a treat to be a DoubleTree Hilton Chester Wedding Photographer on a sunny summer Saturday! Just outside the centre of Chester, the hotel and spa combines traditional and modern to stunning effect. Arron & Sarah tied the knot in the converted stable barn next to the restored 18th century manor house. The venue also boasts a beautiful conservatory, landscaped gardens and a walled garden which provide a variety of backdrops for your wedding day. The spa is a great place to pamper yourself even if you don’t have a wedding to plan or attend here!
Tears and laughter (lots of both!)
The venue boasts one of the best bridal preparation areas for a wedding photographer with light and spacious facilities for Sarah and her bridesmaids. Arron and his party relaxed with a few games of pool and a ‘nerve settler’ before the proceedings got under way.
The ceremony space was dressed out beautifully with lots of personal touches that Arron & Sarah had created. Sunflowers are always a win in my book and the flowers looked beautiful amongst the array of twinkling lights and summer sunshine. Arron is emotional and there was no chance he’d make it through the ceremony without breaking into tears! Bang on cue, as Sarah headed down the aisle Arron’s tears were flowing. As qualified sign language interpreters, the couple chose to have the ceremony and speeches signed for their guests which gave an extra level to proceedings. The hankies were called upon again for the speeches while the room filled with laughter.
Having photographed the couple’s engagement shoot we knew they’d be fun and relaxed to photograph. The grounds of DoubleTree Chester have lots of beautiful spots for a wedding photographer and the couple looked wonderful in the summer sun. The party was still going strong as we left late in the evening and we can only recommend the venue for couples looking in the Chester area.
