I had so much fun meeting Emily at her workshop in Cheshire for a brand photography shoot in January. It was so lovely to meet a fellow female creative who was passionate about her craft and we had lots to discuss as we shared stories about the challenges of running a solo business!
As a Cheshire brand photographer I love meeting like-minded business owners and getting the chance to learn about who they are. Not to mention having the opportunity to see them at work and showcase their talent!
Emily was obviously incredibly committed to her craft and I saw her face light up as she talked about collecting sea glass and she talked me through her design process for a new ring she had been commissioned to create.
Emily is in the process of overhauling her branding and we discussed brand personality and the key messages she wanted to get across about her business and her ideal client. As a brand photographer, I absolutely love this kind of chat and could have talked for hours!
As well as showing Emily behind the scenes in her workshop. We also took some portraits which was my favourite part of the shoot. Having personal portraits helps show your followers and those who are considering working with you who you are and gives them a chance to really connect with you.
